Hotel Good Sleep direkt am Dom, (32 rooms) description: Our family-run hotel is conveniently located in the very heart of Cologne, directly by the cathedral 50 metres away and only one minute from the main station.
The hotel is family-managed, well-kept and an ideal starting point for all city and fair visitors. Awarded by MERIAN 2002 and situated right in the middle of the old part of Cologne; our hotel was constructed on the remnants of a watchtower built on a Roman town wall.
From here you can reach the city’s sights and fairgrounds within a few minutes on foot. Whether you are going to visit the many museums or the Köln Messe, wish to go shopping on Germany's most beautiful shopping mile, or experience an unforgettable event at the Musical Dom, our hotel will provide an ideal base.

AREA INFORMATION
It is not necessary to walk far to see some of the city’s main attractions. Within a minute’s walk you will find Cologne Cathedral, the train station and the Hohe Strasse shopping mile. Within 5 minutes are the Musical Dom and the banks of the Rhine from which you can book your boat trips on the river. Within 10 minutes you will reach the chocolate museum, the main fairgrounds and the zoo.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
By public transport:
Due to excellent transport connections at the Dom, our hotel is easy to reach. Apart from the main station literally a minute away, there is a bus terminal and the Dom/Hauptbahnhof underground station in front of the hotel. It is a 15 minute journey by the city train from the main station to Cologne/Bonn airport.
By Car:
- Follow the signs for the Dom, Hauptbahnhof and Zentrum.
By Train:
Take the exit for Kölner Dom. After 80 metres you will see our hotel on your left.
COMMENTS
If you arrive by car, you can use public parking spaces (partly for fee) in front of the house as well as the underground car park (for fee) "unter der Domplatte" which is 24 hours available.
